June 21, 2021, Beau Lake HQ, Canada Born out of a shared love for water and exploration comes a new collaboration between Swiss watchmaker, Ulysse Nardin and Canadian luxury waterside experiences manufacturer, Beau Lake. The brands have come together to create the ultimate package for the avid paddleboarder and watch and water enthusiast by combining a premium board and limited edition Diver Chronometer.

Founded on a deep connection with water and quality design, Beau Lake builds hand crafted boats and paddleboards using mahogany, rosewood, walnut, and other elevated materials inspired by nature. Each product blends vintage aesthetics with high performance for a timeless elegance designed to enhance the waterside experience.

Sharing a love of life on the water, hand crafted goods, a sense of adventure and appreciation for history, Ulysse Nardin and Beau Lake are proud to unveil a limited edition chronometer timepiece emboldened with the Beau Lake logo, and a customized Malibu paddleboard paired with a Hybrid paddle featuring Ulysse Nardin branding.

The latest edition to the well established Diver Chronometer collection is the Ulysse Nardin x Beau Lake Limited Edition timepiece. Limited to just 15 pieces, the chronometer is presented on a blue rubber strap with Beau Lake featured on a titanium accent plate.

Already a favorite among free spirits, the Diver has a contemporary and eye-catching appearance both outside and in. A supernova among mere stars, the  Diver Chronometer redefines functional elegance with its audacious design. A diving watch crafted to withstand up to three hundred meters of potentially deadly water pressure, its inverted, concave bezel with domed sapphire glass is a breakthrough in exquisite watchmaking.

The face heralds the mechanical marvel of the UN-118 movement with its silicium technology – a specialty of the manufacture – within its 44mm case, visible through the open back. Super-LumiNova on the indexes and hands makes the hours and minutes visible not only in the dark of night but also at great depths. The face is adorned with a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and a date and small seconds at 6 o’clock, all nestled within the unidirectional rotating bezel.

The corresponding Ulysse Nardin branded paddle board was inspired by Gibson guitars and 50s surf culture. The “Malibu” evokes California sun and music in the form of a majestic longboard. Rosewood wraps around all sides of the board with a sunburst edge paint finish named for the iconic Gibson guitars that made it famous. The board is accompanied by Beau Lake’s Hybrid adjustable paddle which features a lightweight carbon fiber shaft, a laminated walnut wood blade, and comfort grip.

Included with all paddleboard purchases are a fin and travel bag Principle Dimensions

Ulysse Nardin’s links to the sea run deep. A recognized pioneer of watchmaking innovation since 1846, the manufacture’s early renown was built on the peerless precision and reliability of its marine chronometers – essential navigational instruments that helped seafarers determine longitude by means of celestial navigation. In continuing the development of its line of dive watches, Ulysse Nardin reaffirms its position of watchmaker of the oceans.
