Ulysse Nardin Updates the Dual Time
Ulysse Nardin has good news for world travelers. The Swiss manufacture comes with a reworked version of the celebrated Dual Time, a watch for the voyager who spends as much time in the air as he does on the ground. For those constantly on the move and as concerned with knowing the time where they happen to be as well as the time at home, the Ulysse Nardin reworked Dual Time ensures that they won’t miss a minute anywhere. No world timer is easier to use than the UN Dual Time with its patented instant time zone adjustment, invented by Ulysse Nardin in 1994.
Elegant and efficient, it has the same case as the Skeleton X with the iconic three-horns signature, and Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The date, hour and minutes are complemented by the patented indicator of the Home Time, situated at the 9 o’clock marker. The hour hand adjusts forward or backward with the simple touch of the “+” and “-” pushers located opposite the crown and the self-winding movement is visible through the exhibition caseback. The dial also features an oversized small seconds hand register at 6 o’clock and a large date in a double window at 2 o’clock. The case is crafted in either rose gold or in stainless steel, depending on the model. Water-resistant to 50 meters, each piece has a sapphire caseback and is individually numbered.
The 2020 Dual Time comes in three versions: steel with a black strap, steel with a blue strap and stunning rose gold. Powered by the UN-24 dual time movement, the functionality of this beauty is easy to master. It features a new oscillating weight with a prominent, encircled UN logo and has a simple pin buckle on the strap. At 42mm, the refreshed Dual Time is an indispensable touch of elegance the sophisticated traveler will never want to leave without.
