To celebrate its fifteenth anniversary, Laurent Ferrier reveals a new interpretation of the Classic Origin. For the first time within the LF collection, the Classic Origin is 5N red gold, paired with a new beige dial.
The Classic Origin Beige embodies the minimalist spirit. Its beige dial, infused with warm undertones, pulses to the rhythm of the brown railway track, central cross and hour marker transfers. Legibility is ensured by the minute track punctuated with red numerals, mirroring the accents on the small seconds at six o’clock. At the center, the signature 18k gold Assegai hands glide across the opaline surface with a serene elegance.
Beneath the sapphire case back lies the LF116.01 calibre, a manually wound movement. At its center, a screw balance comes to life, guided by a Breguet-type over coil hairspring and the signature long-blade ratchet pawl. Once fully wound, the watch offers a power reserve of over 80 hours. The bridges are adorned with a sandblasted finish and treated in black rhodium, while every edge is hand polished. In contrast, the mirror-polished screws gleam like points of light. Every component is hand-finished within the workshop.
The Classic Origin Beige has mocha nubuck strap lined with Alcantara with a 5N red gold pin buckle. The Classic Origin Beige is a witness to a story that began fifteen years ago.
