Our name: LEGARE is a Latin word, which means “to bequeath”
Our mission statement: À la recherche du temps perdu – “In Search of Lost Time”
LEGARE is an independent Swiss brand founded in late 2024 by two industry veterans as a tribute to the hidden treasures of watchmaking.
Asking the question “What if?”, they are dedicated to tracking down some of the most important horological achievements that were never introduced to the market and bringing them to the modern world.

A veteran watch journalist with 25 years of experience, founder of Revolution and The Rake magazines, five-time jury member of the GPHG, co-creator and host of the HBO MAX / Discovery Channel TV series Man of the Hour, the first episodic TV series dedicated to watchmaking.

Guillaume Tetu – Co-Founder
Co-founder and former CEO of Hautlence, former head of Global Watches & Jewelry at Ralph Lauren, current chairman and advisor of Hautlence and founder of GLS2F, a rising private label watch specialist based in Neuchâtel.
