The Pulse60 display features an hour/minute dial at 12 o’clock and a seconds counter at 9 o’clock, driven by a 1 Hz movement that produces a natural half‑second beat. Its patented regulating system, positioned outside the balance wheel, offers an unobstructed view of the large, low‑frequency balance in motion.
Powered by the entirely new Dominique Renaud BUA2024 movement, it operates at 1 Hz—one oscillation per second—echoing the resting rhythm of the human heart. This radically low frequency reduces impulses and disturbances, allowing time to unfold with exceptional calm and stability. A large 20 mm high‑inertia balance wheel masters the second, while a reengineered regulating organ enables ultra‑high amplitude beyond 360° without knocking. The result is a movement that runs far from its limits, delivering remarkable positional stability and consistency.
