The Neo Constant Escapement is the latest innovation from Girard-Perregaux, building on the legacy of the award-winning Constant Escapement L.M. Introduced in 2013, the original model was celebrated for its constant force escapement, which delivered exceptional rate stability regardless of the energy available. The new Neo Constant Escapement advances this concept with both technical and aesthetic enhancements, featuring a unique silicium blade that ensures uniform amplitude of the balance wheel, resulting in superior chronometric performance. This mechanism, six times thinner than a human hair, is the product of years of research and development, and is manufactured using advanced techniques like Deep Reactive Ion Etching (DRIE). 

Design-wise, the Neo Constant Escapement stands out with its Grade 5 titanium case, contemporary dial layout, and signature bridges inspired by the brand’s historical designs. The watch features a sapphire crystal ‘box’ for enhanced visibility, skeletonized hands with luminescent material, and a linear power reserve indicator. The movement, Calibre GP09200, is hand-wound, COSC-certified, and offers a minimum power reserve of seven days. The timepiece’s construction emphasizes both functionality and visual appeal, with visible motion works and a symmetrical arrangement that pays homage to Girard-Perregaux’s iconic three bridges.
