JAEGER-LECOULTRE ENRICHES THE POLARIS COLLECTION WITH A PERPETUAL CALENDAR

In celebration of the theme “The Stellar Odyssey”, which pays homage to astronomical complications, the Polaris collection is enriched with a perpetual calendar that requires no manual correction until 2100.

Aligned with the codes of the Memovox Polaris launched in 1968, the new Polaris Perpetual Calendar instantly asserts its athletic character.

The perpetual calendar is considered one of the most complex horological complications to master. Athletic and elegant, the new Polaris Perpetual Calendar in rose gold invites the modern-day adventurer to experience an almost-perpetual precision.

Beneath the sapphire case-back, the new Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 868 designed, produced and assembled in the Manufacture reveals its 351 components. The innovations embodied in this movement include a moon phase in both hemispheres, equipped with a retrograde hand for the southern hemisphere.

In a 42-mm rose gold case, enhanced by the rose gold bezel and lugs, the blue lacquered dial features a superb gradient of blue tones. Against this oceanic blue, the luminescent hands and hour-markers stand out, alongside the perpetual calendar and moon phase indications. 

 For ease of use, a single corrector adjusts the perpetual calendar and moon phase indications. This model also features an innovative system of interchangeable straps (one in blue rubber, one in black alligator), enabling this timepiece to adapt to all of life’s adventures.
