The heroine of one of Wagner's finest operas. Masriera converted her into a Byzantine empress with a superb composition, evocative of the courtly mosaics of the Eastern Empire. 18-karat yellow gold pendant/brooch with carré-cut sapphires weighing a total of 3.12 carats, brilliant-cut diamonds weighing a total of 3.12 carats, brilliant-cut diamonds weighing a total of 1.98 carats, fired enamel and a cultured pearl.

These stylistically distinctive works of art, have been crafted by Masriera since 1839 and continue to be made today with the techniques used decades ago: plique-à-jour, basse-taille, champlevé, vitreous enameling and Barcelona enameling.
